Naming
A good restaurant name is short, easy to say after hearing it once, and easy to type into a map search. It hints at the food or the feeling without boxing you in if the menu changes. We start from your concept, the neighborhood and the names you like or dislike, and send a list of options with a short note on each.
For the names you shortlist we check what we can see: other restaurants with the same or a similar name nearby, matching domains and social handles. That catches the obvious clashes. It is not a trademark clearance; for that, talk to a trademark attorney before you order a sign.
Logo and identity
A restaurant logo works hard in small sizes. It sits on a delivery app as a square icon, on a cup lid, on a receipt and on a sign read from a car. We design a main logo plus a compact mark for those small spots, and pick two or three colors that print well on paper, cardboard and vinyl.
| Piece | Where it is used |
|---|---|
| Main logo | Sign, menu cover, website header |
| Compact mark | App icon, social profile, stamps and stickers |
| Colors and type | Menus, boards, packaging, staff shirts |
| Simple brand sheet | Handing to your sign maker, printer or developer |
Files you get
Vector logo files for sign makers and printers, PNG files for screens, and a one-page sheet with colors and fonts so every supplier uses the same ones.
Questions
Can you redesign an existing logo?
Yes. Many owners keep the name and want a cleaner logo that reads better at small sizes. Send the current files or a photo of the sign.
Do you design for food trucks?
Yes. A truck wrap is a large format job with its own template from the wrap shop; we design the artwork and they install it.
Opening soon or refreshing a menu? Tell us the concept, the opening date and what you need first: a name, a logo, a menu or all three.
